SOME MEMBERS OF MUSIC WIZARDS BAND All of these musicians have traveled to the Music Valley to help build their new home in Musicville. ELBERT, THE KING CROW OF ROCK AND ROLL: There is no doubt about it, Elbert has an outrageous attitude, and cant do anything without gyrating his hips. You must wear sunglasses when you talk to him because all of the diamonds and sequins on his suit will blind you. When he starts singing the town shakes. FRED, HIP-HOP RAPPIN FROG: This hoppin music frog left the big city and came to Musicville to bring his new rappin, scratchin, and samplin sound, and on Saturday night the whole town gets down as he spins his turntables. REGGAE RABBIT©: This totally mellow dreadlocked reggae musician from Jamaica cant stop making sunshine with his music. TEENY WEENY TINY TINA: As Tina always says, "It is not the size of the mouse in the fight, but the size of the fight in the mouse", and her gigantic presentation of a song is proof of her truth. BUBBA THE COUNTRY BEAR: Bubbas great great great grandfather learned fiddlin from Davey Crockett, and since that time Appalachian Mountain bears have been the best fiddlers. Of course the real thrill is watching Bubba play and sing while he is either dancing, rolling on his back, or up a tree. SIR PIGGY SWINEWAY: This young English gentlepig is one immaculate super smooth accomplished pianist who speaks with a very refined accent and traveled all the way from England to settle in Musicville. Sir Swineway often conducts and performs with the worlds most prestigious symphony orchestras, and thrills his audiences by rolling in mud for an encore. SQUIGGELY WIGGELY, THE ONE MAN BAND: Some say that this ambidextrous musician is the next Mozart because he can do almost anything musically, and is the master of ten instruments that he can play all at once. CAT MANDOO: Born in Jazz Alley, New Orleans, this incredibly cool cat has been wailing since he was a kitten. Loves to play his saxophone while perched on top of tree, which gives him a birds-eye view of Musicville. MYRTLE THE TURTLE: Myrtle is very shy and most of the time has a very tiny voice, so she has to hold the microphone very close to her face...and because she is so afraid of people she often hides in her shell. On the other hand when Myrtle finds just the right song, her voice is transformed into a very big stadium filling feeling. ZORA, THE ROCK AND ROLL WITCH: This twenty year old pushy, yet insecure, heavy metal witch flies around on her "electric guitar broom" which explains why she is always first in line for any concert. Zora desperately wants every musician to play her kind of music, which according to the music critics, should only be played on Halloween night.... but she will never say no to any requests for a guest appearance with another band. Those who give her a hard time have a spell put on them. Only The Music Wizard knows how to neutralize her spells. THE CROC ROCK BAND: This is a band of outrageous Florida, Louisiana and Texas crocodile rock and rollers who have created a new Latin, Country rock vibe. I'M
A ONE MAN BAND The young Squiggley Wiggley is all arms and feet, and is constantly tripping over himself and has trouble going in a straight line. He feels very embarrassed and awkward. While the Music Wizard is sleeping under a tree Squiggley Wiggley accidentally falls on his nose and wakes up the Wizard. The Wizard can see the trouble Squiggley is having and starts to talk to him. The Wizard just happens to have some very small music instruments in his pocket and starts to teach the clumsy caterpillar how to play the instruments and how to dance. Very soon thereafter we notice that Squiggley Wiggley has the dancing skills of Fred Astaire and is making a great sound with his one man band. LET'S WORK HARD AT HAVING FUN "WE
ALL NEED MUD"© Piggy Swineway is a happy young pig. He plays in the mud all day and makes the biggest fun filled mess of any animal on the farm. One day the Music Wizard passes the farm and sees the young pig frolicking in the mud and says, "Howdy, young piggy, seems to me that you have natural born rhythm and would have even more fun playing the piano". Now it just so happen that the Music Wizard had a Swineway Concert Grand Piano under his coat and he took it out and started to play some snappy tunes. Piggy had never heard the piano before, but as soon as he did he knew he wanted to make music. But Piggy had doubts and didnt think he could do something that difficult . He didn't have much confidence, after all he was only good at one thing....being a fun loving, mud covered, messy young pig. The Music Wizard said, "Young Piggy sit down next to me and lets have some fun together playing the piano together and I'll teach you my song, "Let's Work Hard at Having Fun". Soon thereafter we read in Billboard Magazine that Piggy Swineways Farm Animal Concert Tour is sold out all over America and his new hit single "We All Need Mud" is going platinum. YOURE
AS BIG AS YOUR SOUND Teeny Weeny Tina is very sad. She is so teeny weeny compared to all the other animals. Even baby deer seem like elephants next to her. There are so many things she wants to say to the other animals but they can't hear her, and most of them don't understand mouse talk. While she was crying perched on top of a mushroom, the Music Wizard heard her sobbing and said, "Just because your Teeny Weeny, it doesn't mean that others can't understand you". "You look like the type of mouse who would make a great conductor of an orchestra, and I just happen to have 50 different musical instrument especially designed for mice right here in my pocket. Why dont we work together and start The Mousaroni Symphony Orchestra, with Teeny Weeny Tina as conductor?". Soon thereafter we notice Teeny Weeny Tina gathering all her field mice friends and practicing with her 50 piece Mousaroni Symphony Orchestra and getting ready for her Saturday concerts. MUSIC
MAKES MY HIPS SHAKE Young Elbert the Crow was sitting on top of a big tree one beautiful spring morning looking out on the ripe fields, with the sun rising in the sky . He was feeling very happy. Elbert was so happy he started to hum and move his hips round and round. The Music Wizard, who was coming up the road, saw Elbert, and called out to him, " Hey there young crow, you've got real talent, you ought to play the electric guitar, like a Fender Stratocaster. I just happen to have one under my cape. Let me play FARMHOUSE ROCK on it for you". So the Music Wizard started to play his electric guitar and Elbert went bonkers. He had never heard that sound before. Elbert couldn't stop swaying and dancin' around. Soon Elbert was perched on the Music Wizard shoulder asking him questions. "Hey Mr. Music Wizard, what kind of music is that and why does it feel so good. Can you teach me to make that kind of music?". DON'T
HIDE IN YOUR SHELL, SING A SONG Young Myrtle the Turtle looked into the pond and saw her reflection and started to cry, " I'm and not beautiful like Betty Beaver or Sally Swan. I am so unhappy I am going to hide in my shell". So she crawled up off the bank towards some rocks and crawled into her shell so no one could see how ugly she was. It was a hot day and the Music Wizard came down to the pond to take a cool swim. As he was splashing around he saw the very sad turtle hiding in her shell, and started to sing one of his favorite song, "Everyone is a Beautiful Song". Even though Myrtle the Turtle was hiding in her shell she could hear the words that the Wizard was singing, and she popped her head out of her shell and called out, "Hey there Music Wizard, what do those words mean". The Music Wizard hung out with Myrtle and started to teach her how to sing and soon thereafter Myrtle the Turtle was giving concerts in the forest and singing her favorite song "Don't Hide in Your Shell". One of the raccoons in her band remarked that Madonna was copying Myrtle's style of dressing and singing. |
